How it works:
TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET is an antidiabetic medication that combines two active ingredients: metformin and teneligliptin. Metformin increases the body’s sensitivity to insulin, helping cells use more of the glucose circulating in the blood. It also decreases glucose production in the liver and reduces its absorption in the body. Teneligliptin works by inhibiting the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase (DPP)-4, which normally decreases insulin secretion. Together, these components help regulate blood sugar levels and enhance glycemic control in individuals with type II diabetes.
Directions for use:
Take TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET preferably after meals or as directed by your physician. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew it. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on your age, body weight, and medical condition. Do not stop taking TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET unless advised to do so by your doctor.

ALCOHOL Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET as it may increase the risk of unwanted side effects. KIDNEY TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severely reduced kidney functions. Consult your doctor before taking it. LIVER TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver problems. It should be used with caution in patients with gallstones. Consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGY Do not take TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET if you are allergic to Metformin or Teneligliptin. LUNGS TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe infections of the lungs or respiratory tract. Consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASE TAGON M 20/500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe heart problems (such as acute heart failure, recent heart attack, arrhythmia, prolonged QT interval).
