Urimax D Tablet is a dual-action medication combining Tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker, and Dutasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Tamsulosin helps relax the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow and reducing symptoms like frequent and difficult urination. Dutasteride works by gradually shrinking the prostate gland, addressing the underlying cause of BPH. This combination provides comprehensive symptom relief and is typically taken once daily for long-term management under medical supervision.
Combination Therapy: Contains Tamsulosin and Dutasteride for managing benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Improves Urine Flow: Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, easing urination. Reduces Prostate Size: Dutasteride helps in shrinking the prostate gland over time. Symptom Relief: Alleviates urinary symptoms like frequency, urgency, and difficulty in starting urination. Once-Daily Tablet: Convenient dosage for effective long-term management of BPH.
URIMAX D TABLET alleviates the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It contains dutasteride, which decreases the production of dihydrotestosterone, a hormone that contributes to prostate enlargement, and tamsulosin, which relaxes the muscles around the prostate gland. Together, these actions help shrink the prostate, ease urine flow, and relieve associated symptoms.
