Citralka Liquid is a urinary alkalizer used to manage conditions like pyelitis, urethritis, cystitis, and urolithiasis. It helps in maintaining the physiological alkalinity of urine and blood by metabolizing into bicarbonates. This action increases urine pH, aiding in the treatment of metabolic acidosis. The recommended dosage for adults is 30 ml four times daily, while children aged 6-12 years should take 10-15 ml three to four times daily. It should be taken with water or milk, and adults may take it undiluted followed by a liquid. Always use under medical supervision, especially if you have renal impairment or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
