    COLDREST(COLDTEK)

Coldrest Tablet is a combination medication used to manage common cold and flu symptoms, providing relief from fever, nasal congestion, headache, and pain. It also treats allergic symptoms of the nose or throat and bacterial infections like sinusitis, tonsillitis, and otitis media. The active ingredients include Paracetamol for pain relief and fever reduction, Phenylephrine for nasal decongestion, Chlorpheniramine for allergy relief, and Caffeine to enhance Paracetamol's effect and reduce drowsiness. Always take as prescribed by a healthcare provider and avoid use if you have severe liver, kidney, or heart conditions.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredients: Contains Caffeine 15 mg, Chlorpheniramine 2 mg, Paracetamol 500 mg, and Phenylephrine 5 mg. Uses: Provides relief from common cold and flu symptoms, including fever, nasal congestion, headache, and pain. Also treats allergic symptoms of the nose or throat and bacterial infections such as sinusitis, tonsillitis, and otitis media. Mechanism: Combines an analgesic, antihistamine, nasal decongestant, and stimulant to alleviate symptoms effectively. Dosage: Taken as directed by a physician. Precautions: Not recommended for individuals with severe liver, kidney, or heart conditions; avoid in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

    How it works:

This combination of medicines provides relief from fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, headache, and pain. Paracetamol works by elevating the pain threshold and acting on the heat-regulating center in the brain to reduce pain and fever. Phenylephrine reduces swelling of the blood vessels in the nasal passages. Chlorpheniramine reduces the effects of the natural chemical histamine in the body. Caffeine enhances the activity of Paracetamol and reduces drowsiness caused by Chlorpheniramine.
