How it works:
PERINORM INJECTION acts by suppressing certain centers called dopamine centers in the brain. It decreases the sensitivity of the nerves that transmit signals from the gastrointestinal tract to the vomiting centers in the brain. Additionally, it relaxes the stomach muscles and enhances gut motility, thereby managing nausea and vomiting.
Directions for use:
PERINORM INJECTION will be administered to you only by a doctor or a nurse. It can be given as a slow intravenous injection (lasting at least 3 minutes) or as an intramuscular injection. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration based on your age, body weight, and medical condition.
Warning & Precaution:
PREGNANCY PERINORM INJECTION is not recommended during the first 3 months of pregnancy and should be used with caution later if necessary. Consult your doctor before use. BREASTFEEDING PERINORM INJECTION is not recommended for breastfeeding women as it may pass through breast milk. Consult your doctor before use. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Avoid driving or operating machines if you feel dizzy, drowsy, or have unusual muscle movements or vision problems after receiving PERINORM INJECTION. ALCOHOL Avoid alcohol as it may increase sedative effects. KIDNEY Use with caution in patients with kidney problems; dose adjustment may be necessary. Consult your doctor. LIVER Use with caution in patients with liver problems; dose adjustment may be necessary. Consult your doctor. ALLERGY Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Metoclopramide or its components. HEART DISEASE Use with caution in patients with heart conditions like QT interval prolongation. Consult your doctor.
