How it works:
Ticagrelor is a powerful inhibitor of the P2Y12 receptor, which plays a key role in thrombus (blood clot) formation on damaged blood vessel walls. This ADP3 then binds to the P2Y12 receptor, triggering further platelet activation and contributing to the formation of blood clots.
