Escitalopram, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), increases serotonin levels, a neurotransmitter associated with mood improvement.

PREGNANCY USE WITH CAUTION: CENSPRAM PLUS TABLET should only be used in pregnant women if considered clearly necessary by the doctor. Taking CENSPRAM PLUS TABLET in the third trimester (last 3 months) may lead to potential side effects such as trouble with breathing, body temperature changes, bluish skin, seizures, feeding difficulties, vomiting, low blood sugar, stiff or floppy muscles, irritability, lethargy, hyperreflexia, tremor, jitteriness, constant crying, sleepiness, and sleeping difficulties. Consult your doctor before taking CENSPRAM PLUS TABLET. BREASTFEEDING CONSIDER CAUTION: CENSPRAM PLUS TABLET should only be used in breastfeeding women if considered clearly necessary by the doctor, as it may pass through the breast milk.
