Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has instructed. Take one tablet of FEMILON every day with a small amount of water. You can take the tablets with or without food, but it's important to take them around the same time each day. The strip contains 21 tablets, each labeled with a day of the week. Start with the tablet labeled with the day you begin (e.g., "WED" for Wednesday) and follow the direction of the arrow until all 21 tablets are taken. After taking all 21 tablets, take no tablets for 7 days. This is your tablet-free week, during which withdrawal bleeding typically starts around the 2nd or 3rd day. On the 8th day after the last tablet of FEMILON (after the 7-day gap week), start the next strip of tablets, regardless of whether bleeding has stopped or not. If you take more FEMILON, accidentally taking several tablets at once may cause nausea or vomiting. Contact your doctor for advice, especially if there is vaginal bleeding in young girls. If you forget to take FEMILON: - If you are less than 12 hours late taking a tablet, the contraceptive protection is not significantly reduced. Take the missed tablet as soon as you remember, then continue with the rest of the tablets at the usual time. - If you are more than 12 hours late taking a tablet, contraceptive protection may be reduced. The risk of pregnancy increases with the number of tablets missed. Follow your doctor's advice or consult them promptly. If you stop taking FEMILON, do not do so unless instructed by your doctor. Always follow your doctor's instructions carefully to ensure the effectiveness of FEMILON and to manage any potential side effects or issues appropriately.
