Swallow each pill whole with a glass of water; do not chew it. After completing the 21-day strip, take a break of seven days where no pills are taken. If taken correctly and you start the next strip on time, extra contraception is unnecessary during the pill-free period. Consult your doctor if unsure. Commence the next strip on day eight, regardless of whether bleeding has stopped. For instance, if the last pill of one strip is taken on a Friday, start the first pill of the next strip on the Saturday of the following week. This ensures consistency in your dosing schedule.
