CILNEP T TABLET helps lower high blood pressure through two mechanisms: cilnidipine blocks calcium influx, relaxing blood vessels and reducing blood pressure. Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by modulating angiotensin-II, lowering blood pressure effectively.
Take CILNEP T TABLET as directed by your physician. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and duration based on your age, body weight, and medical condition.
PREGNANCY CILNEP T TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Consult your doctor for advice. BREASTFEEDING CILNEP T TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor for advice. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Use with caution. Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience dizziness after taking CILNEP T TABLET. Consult your doctor before taking it. ALCOHOL: Consult your doctor. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking CILNEP T TABLET as it may cause low blood pressure when standing up from a sitting or lying position (orthostatic hypotension). KIDNEY Use with caution. CILNEP T TABLET should be used carefully in patients with chronic renal insufficiency, impaired kidney function, bilateral renal artery stenosis, or stenosis of the artery to a single functioning kidney. Consult your doctor before taking CILNEP T TABLET. LIVER Consult your doctor. CILNEP T TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver impairment, cholestasis, or biliary obstructive disorders. Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate liver impairment and elevated liver enzymes. Consult your doctor before taking CILNEP T TABLET. ALLERGY Do not take CILNEP T TABLET if you are allergic to Telmisartan, Cilnidipine, or calcium channel antagonists such as amlodipine or nifedipine. HEART DISEASE Consult your doctor. CILNEP T TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with advanced aortic stenosis, aortic or mitral stenosis, obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, angina, ischaemic cardiopathy or cardiovascular disease, and congestive heart failure. Use with caution and consult your doctor before taking CILNEP T TABLET. USE IN PEDIATRICS CILNEP T TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years).
