    OVULOC-LD TAB

Ovuloc LD Tablet 21's is a combined oral contraceptive that includes Desogestrel and Ethinylestradiol to effectively prevent pregnancy. This medication works by suppressing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to block sperm, and altering the uterine lining to prevent implantation. Taken once daily, these tablets offer a reliable method of contraception when used as directed. Side effects may include nausea, headaches, breast tenderness, mood swings, and weight changes, which are typically manageable. It is crucial to follow the prescribed regimen and consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice and to address any concerns.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredients: Desogestrel 0.15 mg and Ethinylestradiol 0.02 mg. Uses: Oral contraceptive to prevent pregnancy. Mechanism of Action: Suppresses ovulation, thickens cervical mucus, and alters uterine lining. Dosage Form: Oral tablets, typically taken once daily. Side Effects: May include nausea, headaches, breast tenderness, mood swings, and weight changes.

    Directions for use:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has instructed. Take one OVULOC LD tablet daily with a small amount of water. You may take the tablets with or without food, but it is important to take them around the same time each day. The strip contains 21 tablets, each labeled with the corresponding day of the week. For example, if you start on a Wednesday, take the tablet marked “WED” and continue following the direction of the arrow on the strip until you have taken all 21 tablets. After completing the strip, take no tablets for 7 days. During this break, you should experience withdrawal bleeding, typically starting on the 2nd or 3rd day of the gap week. On the 8th day after finishing the last tablet, begin the next strip of OVULOC LD tablets, whether or not your bleeding has stopped. If you take more OVULOC LD than prescribed, you may experience nausea or vomiting. In young girls, it may cause vaginal bleeding; consult your doctor if this occurs. If you miss a tablet and are less than 12 hours late, take the missed tablet as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If you are more than 12 hours late, the effectiveness of the contraceptive may be reduced. The risk of pregnancy increases with the number of missed tablets. Do not stop taking OVULOC LD unless instructed to do so by your doctor.
