    COLIMEX TAB *#

Colimex Tablet combines Dicyclomine and Paracetamol to treat stomach cramps, renal and biliary colic, and pain from gynaecological or surgical conditions, as well as functional bowel disease and IBS. Dicyclomine relaxes stomach and intestinal muscles, reducing spasms and discomfort, while Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis to relieve pain and fever. Taken orally with water, the dosage is determined by a physician. Common side effects include dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, and nausea. Use with caution in patients with liver, kidney, or heart conditions, and avoid in children under 10 and breastfeeding women.

    Product Highlights and Usage:

Active Ingredients: Dicyclomine 20 mg and Paracetamol 500 mg. Indications: Used for managing stomach cramps, renal and biliary colic, functional bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Mechanism of Action: Dicyclomine relaxes stomach and gut muscles to relieve spasms and cramps, while Paracetamol reduces pain and fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Administration: Taken orally with water, dosage based on physician's advice. Side Effects: May include dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, and weakness.

    How it works:

COLIMEX TABLET acts as an antispasmodic by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and intestine, effectively managing sudden muscular contractions (spasms). It alleviates bloating, pain, cramps, and discomfort. Additionally, Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic, inhibits both COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, thereby controlling prostaglandin synthesis and providing pain relief.
