How it works:
POWERGESIC TABLET helps manage pain through its combination of active ingredients. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant that works on the brain and spinal cord to relax muscles and relieve pain. Diclofenac, an NSAID, inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, blocking the production of prostaglandins that cause pain. Paracetamol, an analgesic, increases the pain threshold by also inhibiting COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes. Together, these components work effectively to relieve pain.

PREGNANCY POWERGESIC TABLET is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy. Contact your doctor before taking it. BREASTFEEDING POWERGESIC TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through breast milk. Contact your doctor before taking it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINES Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience visual disturbances, dizziness, vertigo, somnolence, drowsiness, or fatigue after taking POWERGESIC TABLET. ALCOHOL Avoid consuming alcohol while taking POWERGESIC TABLET as it may lead to unwanted effects. KIDNEY POWERGESIC TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney disease and should be used with caution in those with mild to moderate kidney disease. Contact your doctor before taking it. LIVER POWERGESIC TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver disease and should be used with caution in those with mild to moderate liver disease. Contact your doctor before taking it. ALLERGY Do not take POWERGESIC TABLET if you are allergic to chlorzoxazone, diclofenac sodium, acetylsalicylic acid, other NSAIDs, misoprostol, other prostaglandins, paracetamol, lactose, or any other ingredients in this medicine. LUNGS POWERGESIC TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with nasal polyps, rhinitis, aspirin-sensitive asthma, or other NSAID-induced asthma. It should be used with caution in patients with pre-existing asthma and COPD. Contact your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASE POWERGESIC TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe congestive heart failure, ischemic heart disease (such as heart attack), or blockages of blood vessels to the heart. It should be used with caution in patients with high blood pressure or mild to moderate heart failure. Contact your doctor before taking it.
