Rozat 20mg Tablet is a medication designed to manage elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. Its active ingredient, Rosuvastatin, works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, crucial in cholesterol production in the liver. This inhibition results in lowered levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides, while promoting the removal of lipid particles from the bloodstream. This dual action helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes. Suitable for adults and children over six years, Rozat 20mg should be taken once daily, with or without food. Patients are advised to adhere to a cholesterol-lowering diet and lifestyle changes for optimal results. It is essential to consult a healthcare provider before using this medication, especially for those with pre-existing conditions such as severe liver or kidney disease, or if pregnant or breastfeeding.
