How it works:
COLDACT CAPSULE relieves cold symptoms through the combined action of phenylephrine and chlorpheniramine. Phenylephrine reduces nasal congestion by acting on ?1-adrenergic receptors in the small vessels of the nasal mucosa, causing constriction, which decreases swelling and increases drainage of the sinus cavities. Chlorpheniramine binds to the histamine H1 receptor, blocking its action and providing temporary relief from symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, and watery, itchy eyes caused by histamine.
Directions for use:
Take COLDACT CAPSULE as directed by your physician. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew it. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration based on your age, body weight, and medical condition.

ALLERGY Do not take COLDACT CAPSULE if you are allergic to Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine, aspirin, or any other ingredients in this medicine. PREGNANCY COLDACT CAPSULE is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before taking it. BREASTFEEDING COLDACT CAPSULE is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASE COLDACT CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients with severely high blood pressure or coronary artery disease. ALCOHOL Avoid consuming alcohol while taking COLDACT CAPSULE as it may interfere with the medication's effects.
